Roasted pigeon with artichokes and lemon chutney (HK$398 for whole bird) was undoubtedly the best pigeon I have tasted in this city, with an incredibly tender and silky smooth texture and rich, full flavours. I would devour a second one if I had the stomach space.

For the mains, the black truffle risotto (HK$588) really hit the spot and was equal parts creamy and earthy with just the right touch of cheese while the roasted pigeon with artichokes and lemon chutney was surprisingly moist and tender (HK$228 for half and HK$398 for a whole bird).

The next dish was a beauty, crab, lobster and mirepoix of vegetables sailing on a chilled potato soup. Maybe flower fatigue in cuisine is a thing, but not here, a sunny crowning glory.

Fuck no, cause fuck me, if you’re dropping HKD1000 for a boozeless lunch, shit should be off-the-chain righteous and not just enjoyably ok and disappointing in parts. FYN recommends taking it down 25 floors and going to Arcane instead.

All of our dishes were well prepared but comparing to what we've experienced from Chef Orrico at Pierre, St George and Upper Modern Bistro, I don't think we have seen the best of him tonight.
